The drug trade in Bollywood has reached its peak and the story of actor Shant Singh Rajput's suicide and the drug that started from there has engulfed the entire Bollywood industry for a long time. Prominent personalities are on the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau and many have been interrogated, including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shardha Kapoor.
Now another news has caused a stir in Bollywood again as the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an operation in the industrial city of Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra arrested the famous actress Preetika Chauhan while buying drugs.
According to Indian media reports, after the drug aspect came to light in the actor Shashant Singh Rajput suicide case, the NCB has started keeping a close eye on the actors and its first victim is Preetika Chauhan.
Preetika Chauhan, best known for her role in the drama serial 'Goddess of Goddess Mahadev', has been reported to the NCB for drug use.

Officers set a trap in the Versova area of Mumbai to catch the actress and she was arrested as soon as she came there to buy drugs. 99 grams of cannabis was recovered from the possession of the actress.
Pritika Chauhan's accomplice Fazil has also been arrested. The court remanded both the accused in judicial custody till November 8.
It may be recalled that Bollywood actor and producer and Salman Khan's brother Arbaaz Khan had filed a defamation suit against Shashant Singh for his involvement in the case.
Actor Arbaaz Khan has named Vibhor Anand, Sakshi Bhandari and unidentified persons in a case filed in a Mumbai civil court who were accusing him on social media of being involved in the suicide of Shashant Singh Rajput.
