Johnny Depp ordered to appear in the case filed against his ex-wife

US court has ordered 57-year-old Hollywood actor Johnny Depp to appear in a lawsuit filed against his ex-wife.

Earlier on September 2, Johnny Depp had filed a petition in a US court seeking adjournment of the trial of his ex-wife for a few months.

Johnny Depp had said in a petition filed in Fairfax, Virginia, that he would travel to the United Kingdom to shoot his upcoming film on the same day as his trial. The hearing should be adjourned for now.

In his application, the actor had asked the court to adjourn the hearing of his compensation claim till May or June 2021.
