"Mirzapur Season 2" released despite fierce opposition

Amazon Prime released the web series "Mirzapur Siren 2" on October 23 despite strong opposition in India.
The story of Thriller Crime Series Mirzapur 2 is being declared better than season one. This is India's third original web series to be released on Amazon Prime.
Mirzapur is a crime series filmed in Uttar Pradesh which was released in the year 2018. After the huge success of the first season, the second season was introduced which was scheduled for streaming earlier this year but was delayed due to lockdown due to corona virus.
The web series depicts a power struggle in Puro Vanchal, an area between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, which has been a hotbed of violence for many years and the people there have been demanding the same state.
Earlier, extremist Hindus in India had launched a campaign to boycott Mirzapur Season 2, based on an edited fake tweet of actor Ali Fazal, who played Guddu Pandit in the series.
In this tweet made in August, the actor had written a dialogue included in the series, "I started under compulsion, now it will be fun". Co-editors of the tweet posted a picture of the hand of a police officer killed in a riot during a protest against the controversial citizenship law in New Delhi in January, which appeared to be controversial with the series' dialogue.
Indian extremists have launched a campaign calling the Muslim actor Ali Fazal anti-India and urging the public to boycott "Mirzapur Season 2". However, in the age of social media, the truth has come out that the tweet was aimed at propaganda against the actor.
In Season 2, Pankaj Tripatha will be seen in the role of Akhanda Tripathi, Devindo Sharma in the role of Mana Tripathi, Ali Fazal in the role of Guddu Pandit, Shrita Tripathi in the role of Gaj Gamani Gupta alias Golo Gupta and Rasika Dagal in the role of Bina Tripathi.
