Showbiz artists also drowned in grief over the blast inside a madrassa in Peshawar .
A blast at a madrassa in the Dir Colony area of Peshawar killed eight people, including children, and injured 110. Sadly, the blast occurred at a time when a large number of children were receiving religious education. While the incident has been strongly condemned by all sections of the society including politicians, the showbiz community has also expressed deep sorrow and grief.
Singer Ali Zafar lamented in his tweet that the terrorist attack on a madrassa in Peshawar was reminiscent of the Army Public School tragedy, both of which cannot be forgotten.
Actor Humayun Saeed said that he was saddened to hear of the blast in Peshawar but he lost his mind suddenly thinking that the blood of our children was flowing again.
Singer Farhan Saeed lamented that Allah Almighty grant mercy to those who were martyred in the attack on Pak Madrassa. My best wishes and prayers are with the families of the wounded and martyrs.
Singer and host Fakhr Alam condemned the terrorist attack on innocent children as a clear strategy to destabilize Pakistan, but I would say that it is a coordinated and organized effort by cowards inside and outside the country Our nation stands firm and our journey of progress and peace cannot be stopped.
