Neeraj Bablu, a cousin of late actor Shashant Singh Rajput and a BJP MLA from Chhatapur in Bihar's Spool district, has suffered a heart attack. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Patna, where he is undergoing treatment.
It is learned that the BJP MLA had a heart attack on Wednesday evening, after which he was brought to Patna late at night in Anna Fana. The family says his condition is improving.
It is to be noted that BJP MLA Neeraj Bablu had raised his voice very strongly in the case of the death of Shashant Singh Rajput. He had repeatedly asked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to personally take up the matter with the CBI. He also went to Mumbai to attend the last rites of Shant Singh Rajput.
It may be mentioned that the BJP has released the list of 35 candidates for the Assembly elections in Bihar on Wednesday. In this list, Shashant Singh Rajput's brother Neeraj Singh has also been given a ticket. Neeraj Singh has been nominated by the BJP from Chhatapur Assembly. Neeraj Singh is a three-time Member of Parliament from this seat.
It is worth mentioning that the elections will be held in three phases in the state. Voting will take place on October 28 for 71 seats under the first phase, on November 3 for 94 seats under the second phase and on November 7 for 78 seats under the third phase. The vote count will take place on November 10 and the results will be announced.
It may be recalled that Zee News had quoted sources as saying that the SIT investigating the case has completed its investigation and will submit its final report in the Bihar Court in a few days. The Times of India report quoted sources as saying that the CBI did not suspect any wrongdoing in the case and would soon submit its closure report to the Bihar court.
