A program called CS First will teach computer technology at the school level.
In collaboration with the Ministry of IT, Telecom Foundation, Virtual University and Tech Valley, CS First, a regular program of early computer science education in the country, was launched by Federal Minister for IT Syed Aminul Haq in collaboration with Google.
Initially, the CS First program has been launched in three Telecom Foundation schools.
According to Federal Minister for IT Syed Aminul Haq, the program will soon be extended to all schools.
The purpose of the program is to acquaint the children with computer programs from the earliest classes. Such programs need time to meet the challenges of the digital world. Under the Digital Pakistan Vision, this program will be an excellent platform for Pakistani children.
Federal Minister Amin-ul-Haq said that the government wanted to extend such programs to backward and remote areas.
The CS First program will be able to teach technology to children through sports. It is important to lay the foundation of technology and skills from the very beginning for a better future.
