Ahead of the PDM meeting in Karachi on October 18, several showbiz personalities have also raised their voices against the chanting of slogans at Mazar-e-Quaid by PML-N leader and Maryam Nawaz's husband Capt (retd) Safdar and others.
Expressing his indignation, senior cadre Khalid Anam said that the slogans and rioting did not belong to any political party but to your culture. The Fatiha is recited without any noise or chanting.

Criticizing Captain Safdar, Khalid Anam said that the way Captain Safdar came down to the beach and waved his hand like an end master, I would declare in front of everyone that if he came in front of me, he would receive a slap. Because Quaid-e-Azam Malik Are the founders of and are our fathers, honor them.
The actor demanded the Prime Minister and the Army Chief to take stern action against this move.
Singer-songwriter Fakhruddin Alam expressed embarrassment in a one-line tweet, "Dear Quaid-e-Azam, we are very sorry."
Model and actress Amna Ilyas, while expressing grief and anger in a video message shared on Insta, said that there is no difference between politics and gutters. They are giving honor to the leader. Tell me one thing. Will Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto become our leaders who go to meetings and tell the prices of cranberries and tomatoes? It is not their fault, it is the failure of our government. What will our government, which cannot protect its founder, protect anyone else?

"I join hands and demand the government to take serious action against such people so that no common man or politician will dare to do such a thing again tomorrow. They have no right to ridicule our founder," Amna said.
PTI leader and religious scholar Aamir Liaquat also mocked Captain Safdar in his tweet.
Actress Veena Malik wrote in her tweet that desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid is not acceptable.
Law enforcement agencies arrested Captain Safdar from a local hotel in Karachi yesterday morning. In the FIR registered against him, a case was registered against him for chanting slogans and making threats at the shrine of the founder of Pakistan. He was later produced in an armored vehicle in City Court, where he was granted bail and released.
